So yesterday was Back squats 3x5 @175, Bench 3x5@125 and deads 1 set of 5 at 245. I'm excited for Friday as the 245 felt great. I'm looking for a new PR :) Tuesday was Helen and I wasn't feeling it so much. 11:52 give or take with the 24k bell. Only what a minute and a half slower then my PR. CRAP. I know my running sucks. I'm heading back to the gym tonight for a CFE. I'll be needing to do more of these from now on. Food has been pretty clean the last 2 days. I've decided I need to cut out the protein bars and PB. Although today I already had some natural PB. I'll get there.

Miami Dolphins Draft Party

Couldn't really sleep last night my mind was tossing. I found out yesterday I'm competing in the Dirty South Regional. All of the thoughts on what I need to do over the next month came into play. I know deep down what I need to do to be ready, I've been there. Right now I feel like I am in a good place mentally so I am prepared for the intense workouts that are about to come my way. I have a good feeling about my transition over the next 4.5 weeks! Keep me in your thoughts people!!
Up with Chad at 3:30 and just decided to get up and go in a little early. Nice big crew this morning at 5am!

Cleans-AHHH 120x3x3, 115x3x2. I have fallen back into old habits with my cleans and I was over thinking it this morning. Not everyday can be great:)

This mornings wod was Hammers L/R 12, 9 KBS @ 24k, 6 burpee pull ups. 15min AMRAP. I am a wussy when it comes to cardio these days. I was dying on the burpee pull ups. Got 5 rounds and was happy not to pass out. I really need to get my conditioning back! Thought about fasting today but at about 9:15am had a serious headache and thought...hmmm is it really worth it. I decided it wasn't.

Got up this morning thinking damn those sprints! My hamstrings were tight. I hate being tight trying to hit my numbers. I know it's mental but that's all I can think about..oh I'm tight this weight it gonna suck! Gotta block that shit out and get it done.
Squats 3x5 170lbs, Bench 3x5 @120, deads 1x5 at 240. I am almost back to my 5 rm's which is awesome. Once I get there I will focus more on my running!

I remember why I hate running

The way I felt this morning is why. Holy crap. I haven't run in a while and I about died this am. Sarah on the other hand is a speed racer. I've got about 4 weeks now to start running again. I guess on Tues/Thur I'll have to start adding it in....YUCK.

It's time...

It's time to get back to blogging and keeping myself in check. I've let myself be free from the counting and measuring for a while now. I'm ready to come back and stay on track. Not be overly obsessive, but keep things in perspective for a while. I have figured out what makes me happy and I am trying to get back there. I have started Rip's program and I truly enjoy it. Not sure how long I'll be on it, but for now, this is where I need to be. Plus I get to eat a boat load of protein :) Who doesn't love that??
