I was able to sleep in this morning. So nice. A little chilly out there so I haven't ventured out just yet but I will shorty.

10:15am-Salmon burger, 1/2 of a small boca burger, veggies with hummus, eggplant with a little ff cheese, nuts and a little avocado-Nice big breakfast yummmy and super full
3:00 p.m.-Salmon Burger, 1/2 small boca burger, eggplant with ffcheese, nuts
8-10-4 vodka's with club soda and lime
11pm-Salmon burger, veggies with hummus, nuts

Ahhhh it's finally Friday. This has been a super long week for me. WOD was back squats sets of 3. Lots of warm up then 145,165,175,185,195. Happy with the technique and all around lifts. A few months ago I hit this work out and did reach 195 but I know I was not all the way down and my form now is much better.

5am-Chicken, nuts
8am-Eggplant with ff cheese, blackberries, chicken, avocado with a few nuts
12pm-Grilled chicken, salad, nuts, hot tea!
4pm-Chicken, little salad, nuts
7:30pm-Salmon, salad, veggies with hummus, avocado and a few nuts
9pm-Blackberries with pb-Ok now I'm over the pb

Second WOD was behind the neck jerks. I'm not very confident in my jerk I tend to go up with the bar inside of sitting down and getting under it. I felt pretty good doing the jerks this way. It seemed to be easier for me to get the weight up but not to rerack it! My poor neck! We did a lot of sets I was able to get up to 125lbs for 3. Nice to have Brod there to give feedback and direction. Thanks J

Feeling more rested today as I got up to work out. A little full b/c I've been eating more the last 2 days. I always do that when I'm tired. WOD was Nicole 20 amrap for 400m run and pull ups. My R hand is swollen so my pull ups suffered. I got the lowest on my first round and then stayed pretty consistent so I was happy with that. I felt strong on the kips so I know that I could've done more. Next time I'll blow it out.

8am-Chicken, fruit, veggies, avocado
12pm-Hungry today for lunch! Chicken, salad, asparagus, avocado, a few nuts
4pm-Chicken, mixed veggies, nuts
6pm-a few veggies with hummus while I was cooking
6:30pm-Eggplant with ff mozz, chicken, veggies w/hummus, nuts and avocado

Feel like I ate too much for dinner. Super full.

Heard my alarm go off this morning and decided that I needed to sleep. No wod for me and I think that was a good choice.

8am-Fish, blackberries, nuts
12pm-Fish, salad with extra veggies, nuts and avocado
5:30pm-Apple with PB
7pm-Chicken, asparagus, veggies with hummus
9pm-Zone bar with pb :)

So again I got a little nutty with the pb. I might turn into a nut pretty soon. But I think I am over it now. I didn't measure the pb and I was eating it the last 2 days like it was going out of style but whatever. At least it wasn't a bowl of ice cream with cookies. I can't wait until the weekend when I can get some sleep and be mentally strong.

Need more sleep, that darn 24 keeps me up on Monday nights!! WOD was 3 CnJ, 6 push ups, 9 air squats-15 rounds. Nice. Extra work was ring dips 40 at 1/2 way down. They for sure felt harder today then last week. AHHH.

I was tired this evening and craving PB of all things with fruit. I went over on all blocks today.

Slept in today it felt great. Hit the 9am class for the WOD which was 20 amrap 200m run on the minute every minute. Man did it suck. But was able to get all 20 runs in in time Nice. Extra work today was pull ups and weighted deadlifts.

8pm-Chicken, cheese, a little steak, salad, veggies with hummus, nuts
a few sugar free candies
1/2 zone bar

Ate almost my blocks in protein..more then 3 at each meal and snack.

The Weekend

Saturday- Slept in a little bit and headed to Yoga for a litte stretching. Not sure if I did it saturday or from the week and then saturday topped it off but I think I stained my R quad deep in the belly of the muscle. It's still sore and right now it's Sunday night. Saturday night checked out an everblades game with the husband. I forgot how much fun they are! Sunday I worked all day and night. A kayaking trip down orange river out of manatee park...simply amazing. We saw soo many manatee it was breath taking. Sunday night I had a party and I just got home! To say the least I'm not going to be able to make it in the 6am class...sorry guys!

I know I went a little nutty with the diet cokes today but I needed all of them to stay awake an be friendly while at work. I haven't had soda in a while and I can sure tell, I"m pretty wired. Overall happy with the weekend.

I only have 1 more WOD for the week and then I'm done...YES! It's been a long week for me and I'm pooped all around. I'm very excited to sleep in tomorrow! WOD was Shoulder Press sets of 5. I did a bunch of warm up set and then 75, 85,85,85,85--65 set of 5, set of 10. I missed my last set of 5 on the very last press. I was so close too, oh well. Felt good at 85 lbs today, no more. Shout out to Sarah and B who did 5 reps at their last PR, that's freakin' awesome guys!

The WOD kicked my butt and then the extra work about did me in. I was crankkkky this am. WOD was 30-25-20-15-10-5 Burpees and KTE. Extra work was TGUP's at 25 dumbbell 30 on each side. I was spent after class. Got caught up in the accident this am on I75 took me over an hour to get to work. So far today lots of drama at work, and my heat is out in my office! I'm telling you it's one of those days were nothing comes easy. AHHHH.

Got some excellent sleep last night, nice and sound. Love it when that happens! WOD was Jackie 1,000m row, 50 thrusters at 45lbs, 30 pull ups. Very happy with my time of 10:58. Strong on the pullups one set of 10 the rest sets of 5. Ended up finishing the extra which was 500m row, 35 thrusters, 20 pulls ups, 250m row 20 thrusters, 10 pull ups. DONE!

12:30pm-Large house salad with Chicken, nuts, 2 cups of hot tea brrrrrrrrrr!!

Ate more then 3 blocks of steak fir dinner I'm sure of it, but it was delicious. Found myself to be pretty hungry all day today. Don't think I ate enough for lunch.

WOD was Body Weight deadlifts at 21-18-15-12-9 and double unders at 50-40-30-20-10. Under 17 minutes which was sweet. The deadlifts were fine it was the double unders that are still giving me trouble. It was better then last time but I still need to work on them outside of WOD's. Extra work was 30 ring dips. Only got down 1/2 way and back up...I'll get there.

Monday-1st day of Training!

So I have registered for the regional qualifier for the Crossfit games! Pretty intimidating but I like working towards a goal and having a purpose so I'm excited for the challenge. I am tweaking my diet and really going to dial it in for the next few months. I've already warned my hubby :) WOD was Hang Power Cleans 1-1-1-1-1-1-1. After a few warm up sets started at 125lbs, 135, 135, 135, 140, 140. Missed on a few of the sets but was able to come out hitting 140lbs. YEAH! Stayed behind and did back squats 5 sets of 5 at 145lbs. I'm pooped! Went home ate b-fast and took a nap before I headed to work at 11am.

Got about 8 hours of sleep but decided that I needed to rest today, so no vball for me. My body is still pretty sore and beat up that I'm not going to do much of anything today.

10:30am-Eggs omelet with peppers, salsa, eggplant, blackberries, few nuts and avocado
2:20p.m.-Salmon Burger, Veggies with hummus, a little avocado, few nuts, fruit
6:30pm-Salad with Salmon, eggplant, nuts

Enjoyed a much needed massage this afternoon. My back is still pretty jacked up, but much better. Stocked up on all good foods for the week and spent the later afternoon prepping my meals. I still got my protein in for the day as I ate a few 4 block meals today. I'm trying to go 3-2-9 at my meals this week so we'll see how that goes. Training starts tomorrow!!

Got up this am and I think I was still feeling the aftermath of last night. After I ate lunch I felt better, but still feeling like crap. I think the diet coke is helping as well.

So happy it's Friday although I have to work tomorrow...YUCK! So this morning we did Angie-100 pull ups, 100 push ups, 100 GHD sit ups, 100 air squats. I must tell you....I have never been able to get through 100 pull-ups without doing jumping pull ups at the end. This morning was a break through for me which is awesome! My hands aren't even that tore up. The push ups about killed my shoulders though. I think my form was strugglin' at the end. When I was finished I'm telling you I was sooooo freakin' spent. Just sitting at the gym stretching I felt as though I could fall asleep if I layed down. Worse then FGB. It's been a long hard week for me personally and with crossfit. I'm pooped! Shout out the 6am crew for smashing it this am. And of course S for blowin' us out of the water--Nice work girl!

So I got a little ok a lot out of control last night. It was a really hard week for me and I went balls to the wall on the vodka. I waited too long to eat and then was basically craving everything I will not be eating over the next 3 months!

Solid 6 hours of sleep with another iffy hour so I was up at 5am. Last two nights I have woke up at 4am and that was it, I couldn't get back to sleep. WOD was AMRAP 20 min-- run and kettle bell swings, uping the number of swings by 10 each round. Good one today for me, I dig the swings and running so I enjoyed this WOD. My baseball tickets go on-sale this morning and I have had people waiting at the Town Center since 7:15 a.m.! Gotta run and try and control the mad rush!!

Up with no sleep or lack there of. I am addicted to 24 and once I watch it I can't go to sleep. I was also tossing and turning about work. WOD was run 800m, 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 Burpees, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10 hand stand push ups. Because I have a hard time just flippin' myself up onto the wall I chose to do the rack push ups. Which I might add are much harder then the tires!! The workout really kicked my butt. Felt stronger on the burpees but struggled with the push ups.

Working on lifting! This morning was Deadlifts 3-3-3-3-3. Deadlifts usually are my strongest event. This morning I was struggling a bit with the heavy weight. Starting my sets at 225, 235,235, 225, 225. I was feeling a little light headed this morning. I'm not sure if it was because I was holding my breath the entire lift or what. Usually I exhale at the top which is not a good thing. Overall I was happy with my form on all of the lifts, I didn't round my back which is huge!

Yesterday we worked on squat form and technique. I have really been needing to do this for some time now. All of the years of being involved with sports I have never been taught the correct squatting form...amazing. Worked with lighter weight and lots of reps. Headed to St. Pete to visit with one of my high school girlfriends. Packed zone foods for breakfast and lunch. Did the best I could for snack and dinner. Ended up having a few beers but felt pretty good about the day.Came home today and felt hungry all afternoon.

Still not getting good sleep. I'll have to catch up over the weekend! WOD was Run 400M, 40 sit ups, Run 400m, 20 burpees, 4 rope climbs, 20 burpees, run 400m, 40 Hypers, Run 400m. So I have never tried the straight rope in a WOD and I thought I would today. Got up 1/2 once in the past, today 4 times 1/2 and 2 regular rope climbs. Disappointed that I didn't trust myself enough to keep trying and go all the way up. So after class I tried again and got all the way to the top! YEAH finally. Now I know I can do, I have to!

Sleep was ok still not enough though. I'll have to try and hit the hay early tonight. WOD was AMRAP in 20 min. row 500M once, then 5 Power Cleans at 95lbs, 10 push ups. Cleans felt good and strong today. When I slow down and focus on the first pull I tend to keep the bar closer and have much better form. The push ups caught up to me in the end I still banged out 10 rounds, 5 cleans and 5 push ups. Nice.

I was so hungry all day today that I couldn't stop munchin after dinner. Way too much natural pb for me!I ended up having a bunch of sugar free candies throughout the day. I didn't realize just how many carbs were in each but I know I was for sure way over in carbs for the day. I thought I would try those instead of gum. Looks like not a good choice!

Didn't get much sleep as Chad woke up sick! WOD was Fran 21-15-9 Thursters @63 and Pull ups. This is the first time I've taking on fran and it was intense. I posted a time of 7:24 which was ok but I was shooting for under 7min. I was happy with my pull ups though they seem to keep getting better and better :() Shout out to Sarah who is just amazing and killed it this am!

5:15am-Egg, nuts

12pm-Ground Turkey Chili, Veggies and hummus, nuts, some blackberries
3:30pm-Veggies with hummus, avacado, 1/2 boca burger

Long break between snack and dinner. I was pretty darn hungry when I was finally able to eat. Feeling better already with the diet and sleep!

So the new year has brought one good thing thus far...A renter for our condo! Yeah! I am hoping 2009 is much better financially for us- 2 mortgages was killing me! Anyhow so I have decided that I need to rededicate myself to my blogg. I am hoping this will help me stay on track with diet and fitness. This mornings WOD was run 800m Row 800 m 3 rounds for time. I looked back to about a month ago and noticed I beat my best time by 7 seconds which I was really happy about.

8am-Eggs, 3 block fruit, nuts
12:30pm-Salad, boca burger, egg, veggies, nuts
4pm-Veggies, 1/2 boca burger, dressing, nuts
7pm-HUNGRY! Salad, Turkey Burger, 1/2 apple with pb, veggies with hummus, nuts

Probably went over at dinner with blocks b/c I waited too long to eat. Overall good fresh start!

Friday-New Year New Mind Set!!

Woke up this morning with a new outlook and energy on being fit and staying in shape (need to lose those extra holiday pounds). Then I saw the Special 38 WOD. J/K but the WOD was for sure a ass kicker just like the girl who it was named after. Happy B-Day Sarah! WOD was for time, 38 cal, 38 push press, 38 deadlifts, 38 GHD sit ups, 38 Burpee Pull ups (ok those suck), 38 WBS, 38 KBS, 38 Double Unders, 38 Walking Lunges, 38 cal.
